We had a rockin’ good show at The Blue Canoe in Tupelo, MS last night, just like we knew we would. Our good friend Tina Smith Phillips was there taking photos for Beer Loves Tupelo. Check out this cool gallery of photos from our set.
We had a blast helping our good friends The Chris Watson Band celebrate their CD release a few weeks ago at Magnolia Motor Lounge in Ft. Worth. Check out these photos from our set, courtesy of our good friend Tandra Salone.
As the weather gets hotter, the dance party gets sweatier, and that’s just how we like it. To get you in the mood for this Thursday’s edition (featuring a full-band set from Mrs. Glass, fresh off their latest tour), here’s a killer set of photos from Thursday, July 24, courtesy of our good friend Milton Otto.
Last weekend’s show at The Continental Club with KP and The Boom was a good old fashioned dance party, just like we hoped it would be. Many thanks to our good friend Milton Otto for sharing these awesome photos from our set.
Monday nights at The Roost in north Austin just keep getting better and better. The Roost is such an awesome venue, and a welcome addition for all the north-siders that don’t always get a chance to make it downtown for shows. Here’s a great gallery of photos from the June 30, 2014 edition of Soul Mondays at The Roost, courtesy of our good friend Milton Otto.
A few weeks ago we celebrated ROXY ROCA drummer Paul’s birthday at our favorite Rainey Street hangout, The Blackheart. At the birthday boy’s request, we all wore bow ties. I think that put the night over the top. It looked something like this (thanks to Milton Otto for the photos).
“Wait– you guys are playing at a grocery store?” It’s hard to explain the phenomenon that is Central Market to out-of-towners. I guess it’s just an Austin thing. We love living in a town that is so cool that even our grocery stores are killer venues. Also, we love doing early, all-ages shows like this once in a while where all our good friends with kids that can’t come to our late night shows can come out and enjoy a good time with us. Many thanks to our good friend Milto Otto for sharing these pictures!
Another epic show at The Parish last weekend with Sam Pace & The Gilded Grit and Mighty Mountain! Many thanks to our good friend Milton Otto for sharing these photos from our set.
We’re still feeling the good vibes from last month’s amazing show at The Parish with KP and The Boom Boom, The Digital Wild, and Kazi. Here’s another gallery of photos from our set, courtesy of Isaac Strycker.
